70 Silk Scarf Midnight Butterflies
Against a midnight blue background, gold and cream butterflies and moths are arranged symmetrically around a large butterfly crowned with laurel. The cream border reverses the play: navy butterflies on a light background.
The 70 x 70 is the neck format: folded in a triangle, it ties in front or to the side without hanging too low, and folded as a headband it makes two loops. It can also be worn on the head, tied under the chin or at the nape, and as a fine belt over a dress.

The Midnight Butterflies scarf is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with subtle diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to wrinkles. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraved line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never serged by machine.
The 70 cm is the intermediate format of silk houses: large enough for a shoulder knot in summer, short enough to stay neat at the neck in winter. It is cut from the same twill as the 90, with the same hand-rolled edge: only the surface changes, not the material. This format is washed flat like a 90; the hand-rolled edge reshapes during drying, by gently pulling the edges flat.
