Compared to a stole woven in wool or cashmere, the large silk scarf folds into a pocket square and unfolds without a crease: silk twill does not mark. It is the shoulder garment for months when a coat is too much.
A 110 square is seen draped, never folded as a band: the designs of this format are therefore composed around a large central medallion, the one that falls in the middle of the back. The multiple borders of these designs are found at the tips of the stole, in front: that is why they are wider and more ornate than on a 90.

The Misciano 110x110 silk square is cut from the natural silk twill of our 90s: same diagonal weave, same density, same hand. This is what makes it much lighter than a thicker woven silk stole or a wool shawl. The edges are hand-rolled over four meters forty of perimeter, making it the longest piece to finish in the range. High-definition printing and dyes follow the same controls as our squares, ISO 105-C06 and ISO 105-B02 standards.

The stole is rectangular, the large square is square: folded in half diagonally, it is worn exactly like a stole, and open it becomes a shawl, which a stole does not do.
Folded as a wide band it makes three turns, but it is designed for the shoulders. For the neck, prefer the 90 or the 70.
Silk is thermoregulating: twill keeps body heat without suffocating. A 110 replaces a mid-season stole, not a winter scarf.
In a large basin of cold water, mild soap, without wringing; dry flat on two towels, never hang wet, the weight of the water would deform the rolled hem.
