Large 110 silk scarf Oriental Rug
A Persian rug with a central medallion, arabesques and palmettes, in burgundy, gold and blue on cream, framed by successive ornamental borders. A large square designed like a manufactured rug, to be draped.
The 110 x 110 can be worn as a stole or shawl: draped open over the shoulders, folded into a triangle and tied at the front, or slipped over the arms for an evening out. It is the format that covers, the one you take over a summer or ceremonial dress.
The Wearing Experience
- Burgundy and gold is a winter combination: over a black or camel coat, the stole dresses without weighing down.
- The central medallion falls at the back as a shawl; the multiple borders are found at the points.
- Folded into a triangle, it covers the shoulders and upper arms: a silk stole that weighs nothing.

Know-How & Material
The Oriental Rug square is printed in Italy on a 100% natural silk twill, the same tight weave with a discreet diagonal as our 90 squares, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which reproduces the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overlocked.
The 110 cm is cut from the same twill as the 90s, making it much lighter than a woven stole: it folds into a bag and unfolds over the shoulders. Caring for Your Piece
A 110 requires a large basin and flat drying on two towels; never hang it wet, as the weight of the water would deform the rolled edge. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
