Large silk square 110 Cathedral of roses
A cathedral rosette composed of roses and foliage, petal by petal, in a network of gothic tracery, on a cream background. The powder pink border with rose garland completes a large cloister garden square.
The 110 x 110 is worn as a stole or shawl: draped open on the shoulders, folded in a triangle and tied at the front, or slipped over the arms for an evening out. It's the format that covers, the one you take on a summer or ceremony dress.

Craftsmanship & Material
The Cathedral of roses square is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with subtle diagonal that our 90 squares, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then set to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overcast.
The 110 cm is cut from the same twill as the 90, which makes it much lighter than a woven stole: it folds into a bag and unfolds on the shoulders. The designs in this format are composed around a large central medallion, the one visible once the square is draped. Care for Your Piece
A 110 requires a large basin and drying flat on two towels; never hang it wet, the weight of water would deform the rolled edge. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk square.
