Large 110 silk square Stained glass imperial
A gothic stained glass rosette in deep blue, red, gold and green, occupies the entire cream square, framed by a border of broken arches and lancet windows. The light of a cathedral, drawn in silk.
The 110 x 110 is worn as a stole or shawl: draped open on the shoulders, folded in a triangle and tied at the front, or slipped over the arms for an evening out. It's the format that covers, the one you take with a summer or formal dress.
The Wearing Experience
- Draped as a shawl, the stained glass envelops the shoulders with its colors: it's the most colorful evening stole in the range.
- The central rosette falls down the back; the border arcs are found at the points.
- Folded in a triangle, it covers the shoulders and the top of the arms: a silk stole that weighs nothing.

Craftsmanship & Material
The Stained glass imperial square is printed in Italy on a 100% silk natural twill, the same tight diagonal weave as our 90 squares, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn by needle, never serged by machine.
The 110 cm is cut from the same twill as the 90, making it much lighter than a woven stole: it folds in a bag and unfolds on the shoulders. The designs in this format are composed around a large central medallion, the one that is visible once the square is draped. Care for Your Piece
A 110 requires a large basin and drying flat on two towels; never hang it wet, the weight of the water would deform the rolled edge. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk square.
