Silk scarf 70 Golden Lane
On a burgundy background, a map of Paris engraved in gold unfolds its streets around the monuments, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, up to a border of laurel and golden ribbons. The scarf of the Parisian house, in its nighttime version.
The 70 x 70 is the neck format: folded into a triangle, it ties in front or on the side without falling too low, and folded as a band it wraps twice. It can also be worn on the head, tied under the chin or at the nape, and as a thin belt over a dress.
The Wearing Experience
- The burgundy and gold is a theatrical velvet accord: it dresses a black or camel coat with a single gesture.
- The all-over city map requires no centering: each panel shows a neighborhood.
- Folded into a triangle and tied in front, the point falls mid-chest: that is the right proportion for a coat collar or a blazer.
- As a band, it wraps twice around the neck with a flat knot: the silk holds without a pin.
Know-How & Material
The Golden Lane scarf is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill, 100% silk, the same tight weave with a subtle diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The print is done in high definition, which renders the engraving lines of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overlocked.
The 70 cm is the intermediate format of silk houses: large enough for tying over the shoulders in summer, short enough to stay neat at the neck in winter. It is cut from the same twill as the 90s, with the same hand-rolled edge: only the surface changes, not the material. To understand what distinguishes a twill from a silk satin, we have detailed our criteria in silk scarf, twill or satin.
Styling Tips

This format is found throughout the collection of 70x70 silk scarves, the neck format. All formats are gathered in the Misciano silk scarf collection. To go further: tying a silk scarf around the neck.
Caring for Your Piece
This format is washed flat like a 90; the hand-rolled edge reshapes during drying, by gently pulling the edges flat. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
