70 Silk Scarf Palace Keys
Eight ornate gold keys radiate from a green shield with a lock, connected by green cords ending in gold tassels. The border of green and gold Greek key patterns closes the design like the door of a cabinet of curiosities.
The 70 x 70 is the neck format: folded in a triangle, it ties in front or to the side without falling too low, and folded as a headband it makes two loops around the neck. It can also be worn on the head, tied under the chin or at the nape, and as a fine belt over a dress.
The Wearing Experience
- The tassels and cords go around the scarf: when tied, the visible end always shows a key and a tassel.
- Bottle green and gold are a library agreement: perfect with camel, brown and cream.
- Folded in a triangle and tied in front, the point falls in the middle of the chest: this is the right proportion for a coat collar or a blazer.
- As a headband, it makes two loops around the neck with a flat knot: the silk holds without a pin.
Craftsmanship & Material
The Palace Keys scarf is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with a discreet diagonal that our 90 scarves have, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never serged by machine.
The 70 cm is the intermediate format of silk houses: large enough for a shoulder tie in summer, short enough to stay neat at the neck in winter. It is cut from the same twill as the 90, with the same hand-rolled edge: only the surface changes, not the material. Styling Tips
- On a camel trench, tied as a wide tie, key visible.
- With a bottle green sweater and a cream skirt, as a narrow headband.
- On a white shirt, as a wrist scarf, cord around the arm.

Care for Your Piece
This format is washed flat like a 90; the hand-rolled edge is reshaped when drying, by gently pulling the edges flat. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in washing a silk scarf by hand.
