70 Silk Scarf Opera Fans
Black, gold and cream fans interlock in concentric circles around a central sun, in Art Deco geometry in the Ruhlmann style. The black and gold serrated border echoes the staircase pattern of the Palais Garnier grilles.
The 70 x 70 is the neck format: folded in a triangle, it ties in front or to the side without hanging too low, and folded as a headband it wraps around twice. It can also be worn on the head, tied under the chin or at the nape, and as a thin belt over a dress.

Craftsmanship & Material
The Opera Fans scarf is printed in Italy on a 100% natural silk twill, the same tight weave with discreet diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense feel and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn by needle, never machine-stitched.
The 70 cm is the intermediate format of silk houses: large enough for a shoulder tie in summer, short enough to remain neat at the neck in winter. It is cut from the same twill as the 90, with the same hand-rolled edge: only the surface changes, not the material. Care for Your Piece
This format washes flat like a 90; the hand-rolled edge reshapes during drying, by gently pulling the edges flat. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
