Golden Lane silk twilly
On the burgundy, a gold-engraved map of Paris unfolds its streets, monuments, and facades along the ribbon. Derived from the Golden Lane scarf, this twilly is the nocturnal version of the city, to be tied.
The twilly is a silk ribbon folded lengthwise, with tapered ends: it wraps around a bag handle, ties at the neck as a thin tie, at the wrist as a bracelet, or in the hair on a ponytail. It is the lightest and easiest silk accessory to wear in the range.
The Wearing Experience
- Burgundy and gold: the evening twilly, on the handle of a black bag or at the neck over a dark dress.
- The continuous map requires no centering: each turn of the wrist shows a different neighborhood.
- Wrapped in a spiral on a bag handle, it stays without slipping: the silk grips itself and the flat knot finishes the spiral.
- At the neck, it ties in a small knot on the side or as a thin tie under a collar: two turns are enough.
Know-How & Material
The Golden Lane twilly is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill, 100% silk, the same tight weave with a subtle diagonal as our 90 cm scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The print is done in high definition, which reproduces the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overlocked.
The twilly is printed on a 12 cm twill band, then folded in half lengthwise and rolled on its edges: the finished ribbon is 6 cm wide and 90 cm long, with both ends cut on the bias. The design is composed for the visible half once folded, and reads on both sides. Styling Tips
- On the handle of a black bag, wrapped tightly.

Caring for Your Piece
The twilly can be washed flat in a few minutes, dried flat by pulling the ends, and ironed lightly: it is the simplest silk piece to maintain. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
