Silk Twilly Golden Zodiac
On midnight blue, the twelve zodiac signs in gold succeed one another along the ribbon, connected by their constellations. Derived from the Golden Zodiac square, this twilly bears the twelve signs: each one finds theirs.
The twilly is a silk ribbon folded lengthwise, with tapered points: it wraps around the handle of a bag, ties around the neck as a fine tie, around the wrist as a bracelet or in the hair on a ponytail. It is the lightest and easiest to wear silk accessory in the range.
The Wearing Experience
- Navy and gold: the evening twilly on a black bag, the daytime one on a camel bag.
- The signs in a line are read at the wrist: an astrologer's bracelet.
- Wrapped in a spiral on a bag handle, it stays without slipping: the silk catches on itself and the flat knot finishes the spiral.
- Around the neck, it ties in a small knot on the side or as a fine tie under a collar: two turns are enough.
Craftsmanship & Material
The Golden Zodiac twilly is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with discreet diagonal as our 90 squares, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overstitched.
The twilly is printed on a band of twill 12 cm wide, then folded in half lengthwise and rolled on its edges: the finished ribbon is 6 cm wide and 90 cm long, with the two points cut on the bias. The design is composed for half visible once folded, and is read on both sides. To understand what distinguishes a twill from a silk satin, we have detailed our criteria in silk square, twill or satin.

Care for Your Piece
The twilly washes flat in a few minutes, dries flat by pulling the points, and barely needs ironing: it is the easiest silk piece to maintain. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in washing a silk square by hand.
