Garnet Jewels silk twilly
On deep garnet, gold chains, tassels and cut stones run along the ribbon, like an unrolled sautoir. Derived from the Garnet Jewels scarf, this twilly is the most jewel-like of the series.
The twilly is a silk ribbon folded lengthwise, with tapered ends: it wraps around a bag handle, ties at the neck as a thin tie, at the wrist as a bracelet, or in the hair on a ponytail. It is the lightest and easiest silk accessory to wear in the range.
The Wearing Experience
- Garnet warms up black: on a black bag handle, the twilly becomes the bag's jewel.
- At the wrist, the drawn chains give the effect of a gold cuff.
- Wrapped in a spiral on a bag handle, it stays without slipping: the silk clings to itself and the flat knot finishes the spiral.
- At the neck, it ties in a small knot on the side or as a thin tie under a collar: two wraps are enough.
Know-How & Material
The Garnet Jewels twilly is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill, 100% silk, the same tight weave with a discreet diagonal as our 90 cm scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The print is done in high definition, which reproduces the engraved line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine overlocked.
The twilly is printed on a 12 cm twill band, then folded in half lengthwise and rolled on its edges: the finished ribbon is 6 cm wide and 90 cm long, with both ends cut on the bias. The design is composed for the visible half once folded, and reads on both sides. Styling Tips
- On a black bag handle, wrapped tightly and tied in a flat knot.
- At the neck, in a small knot on a black evening dress.

Caring for Your Piece
The twilly washes flat in a few minutes, dries flat by pulling the ends, and barely needs ironing: it is the simplest silk piece to maintain. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from the sun, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
