Silk Twilly Garnet Jewels
On deep garnet, gold chains, tassels and cut stones run along the ribbon, like an unfurled necklace. Derived from the Garnet Jewels square, this twilly is the most jewel-like in the series.
The twilly is a silk ribbon folded lengthwise, with tapered points: it wraps around a bag handle, ties at the neck as a thin necktie, at the wrist as a bracelet or in the hair on a ponytail. It's the lightest and easiest-to-wear silk accessory in the range.
The Wearing Experience
- Garnet warms black: on a black bag handle, the twilly becomes the bag's jewel.
- At the wrist, the drawn chains create the effect of a gold cuff.
- Wrapped in a spiral on a bag handle, it stays in place without slipping: the silk grips itself and the flat knot finishes the spiral.
- At the neck, it ties in a small knot on the side or as a thin necktie under a collar: two loops are enough.
Craftsmanship & Material
The Garnet Jewels twilly is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with discrete diagonal as our 90 squares, recognizable by its dense feel and resistance to wrinkles. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn by needle, never machine overcast.
The twilly is printed on a twill band of 12 cm, then folded in half lengthwise and rolled on its edges: the finished ribbon is 6 cm wide and 90 cm long, with both points cut on the bias. The design is composed for half visible once folded, and reads on both sides. To understand what distinguishes a twill from a silk satin, we have detailed our criteria in silk square, twill or satin.

- On a black bag handle, wrapped tight and tied in a flat knot.
- At the neck, in a small knot on a black evening dress.
- At the wrist, two loops and a buckle, over a cream sweater.

Care for Your Piece
The twilly is washed flat in a few minutes, dried flat by pulling the points, and barely needs ironing: it's the easiest silk piece to maintain. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; drying flat away from sunlight, ironing on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk square.
