70 Silk Scarf Ballet Stars
Powder pink pointe shoes, loosened ribbons, spin in a circle at the center of a pale pink square, surrounded by small stars and bows. A border of ribbons and pleated tulle completes an Opera box design.
The 70 x 70 is the neck size: folded into a triangle, it ties in front or to the side without hanging too low, and folded as a headband it makes two turns. It can also be worn on the head, tied under the chin or at the nape of the neck, and as a thin belt over a dress.
The Wearing Experience
- The pink on pink is a tone-on-tone: the scarf softens the complexion and is worn like a ballerina's collar.
- The shoes in a circle remain readable on the back, in triangle form, like a medallion.

Craftsmanship & Material
The Ballet Stars scarf is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with a discreet diagonal that our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to wrinkling. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overcast.
The 70 cm is the intermediate size for silk houses: large enough for a shoulder tie in summer, short enough to stay neat at the neck in winter. It is cut from the same twill as the 90s, with the same hand-rolled edge: only the surface changes, not the material. Care for Your Piece
This size washes flat like a 90; the hand-rolled edge reshapes itself as it dries, by gently pulling the edges flat. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; flat drying away from sunlight, low temperature ironing on the reverse, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
