Silk scarf 70 Ballet Stars
Powder pink pointe shoes, untied ribbons, twirl in a round at the center of a pale pink square, surrounded by small stars and bows. The border of ribbons and pleated tulle completes a design of an Opera dressing room.
The 70 x 70 is the neck format: folded into a triangle, it ties in front or on the side without falling too low, and folded as a band it makes two turns. It can also be worn on the head, tied under the chin or at the nape, and as a thin belt over a dress.
The Wearing Experience
- The pink on pink is a tone-on-tone: the scarf softens the complexion and is worn like a ballerina collar.
- The shoes in a round remain legible on the back, in a triangle, like a medallion.
- Folded into a triangle and tied in front, the point falls at the middle of the chest: it is the right proportion for a coat collar or a blazer.
- As a band, it makes two turns around the neck with a flat knot: the silk holds without a pin.
Know-How & Material
The Ballet Stars scarf is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with a discreet diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and its resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which reproduces the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine overlocked.
The 70 cm is the intermediate format of silk houses: large enough for tying over the shoulders in summer, short enough to stay neat at the neck in winter. It is cut from the same twill as the 90s, with the same hand-rolled edge: only the surface changes, not the material. Styling Tips
- On a black coat, tied in a point on the chest: the only softness of the outfit.

Care for Your Piece
This format is washed flat like a 90; the hand-rolled edge reshapes during drying, by gently pulling the edges flat. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from the sun, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
