Small silk scarf 50 Gold Interlacing
A large golden interlacing, braided in symmetrical loops, fills the entire cream field and ties with the gold braid border. The design is inspired by illuminations and portal ironwork: a single ribbon, without beginning or end.
The 50 x 50 is the format for quick gestures: folded into a four-finger headband, it ties around the neck as a short cravat, on the head as a bandana, around the wrist or on a bag handle. It never creates bulk, making it easier to wear than a 90 under a coat collar.
Wearing Experience
- The symmetrical pattern is identical regardless of which corner you choose to tie: the visible end is always balanced.
- The warm gold on cream complements gold jewelry and tawny leathers.
- Folded as a headband, it stays in your hair all day without slipping, the silk gripping itself at the knot.
- At the neck, it slides under a shirt or sweater collar without bulk: it's the format you keep under your coat.
Craftsmanship & Material
The Gold Interlacing scarf is printed in Italy on a 100% natural silk twill weave, the same tight diagonal weave as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to wrinkling. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraved line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-finished.
At 50 cm, the scarf is cut from the same twill as the 90s: same density, same hand. The difference is in proportion: the border takes up a larger part of the design, and it's what you see once the scarf is folded as a headband. Designs at this size are therefore composed with the border first. To understand what distinguishes a twill from a silk satin, we have detailed our criteria in silk scarf, twill or satin.
Styling Tips
- With an ivory silk blouse and a camel skirt, tied as a lavallière.
- On a black sweater, folded as a headband and worn as a flat collar.
- In your hair, as a bandana, for a low formal chignon.

Care for Your Piece
The small format washes flat in a few minutes and dries quickly; it's the scarf you maintain most often, because it touches your hair and skin. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from direct sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
