Know-How & Material
The Pied-de-poule parisien scarf is printed in Italy on natural silk twill, 100% silk, the same tightly woven fabric with a subtle diagonal as our 90 cm scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and wrinkle resistance. The print is done in high definition, capturing the engraved line of the design, then set to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overlocked.
In 50 cm, the scarf is cut from the same twill as the 90s: same density, same hand. The difference is one of proportion: the border occupies a larger part of the design, and it's what shows once the scarf is folded into a band. Caring for Your Piece
The small format is washed flat in a few minutes and dries quickly; it's the scarf you care for most often, because it touches hair and skin.
