Small silk square 50 Rosace de fil
An immense lace rosette, designed tone-on-tone in beige on cream, occupies the entire square like an enlarged Calais doily. Each thread petal is traced one by one; the scalloped border echoes the edge of bobbin lace.
The 50 x 50 is the format for a quick gesture: folded into a four-finger band, it ties around the neck as a short tie, on the head as a bandana, around the wrist, or on a bag handle. It never adds bulk, making it easier to wear than a 90 under a coat collar.

Know-How & Material
The Rosace de fil square is printed in Italy on a 100% silk natural twill, the same tight weave with a subtle diagonal as our 90 squares, recognizable by its dense hand and wrinkle resistance. The printing is done in high definition, which renders the engraved lines of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overlocked.
In 50 cm, the square is cut from the same twill as the 90s: same density, same hand. The difference is in proportion: the border occupies a larger part of the design, and it is what shows once the square is folded as a band. Designs in this size are therefore composed border-first. Styling Tips
- On a white shirt, tied flat at the neck: a lace effect without lace.

Caring for Your Piece
The small format is washed flat in a few minutes and dries quickly; it is the square you care for most often, because it touches hair and skin. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand-washing a silk square.
