Brown takes over when the season turns
Same dress as its khaki sister: same dry linen, same clean armholes without sleeves, same button front from collar to hem, same tie belt in its loops. What changes is the shade, and on a workwear dress the shade determines its use. A warm brown turns this long shirt into a piece that carries through autumn, where khaki kept it in full summer.

Craftsmanship & Material
Composition: 50% linen, 25% tencel lyocell, 25% viscose. The linen brings freshness and texture, the tencel lyocell brings wash resistance, the viscose brings draping fluidity.
Brown is one of the rare shades where linen's irregularity works in the garment's favour. Linen fibre starts off undyed and its cross-section is not round: it takes dye unevenly from one thread to another, and each slightly lighter slub remains visible in the finished fabric. On black, this irregularity reads as a dye fault. On warm brown, it gives a depth that nothing solid can reproduce, and the lyocell, perfectly even in the dye bath, lays down the background against which these slubs stand out. Styling Tips
- Buttoned to the top, belt tied, block heel boots and opaque tights: the autumn version.
- Open over a thin black sweater and straight trousers, worn like a long shirt jacket.
- Buttoned halfway over a white t-shirt, belt removed, as soon as it's warm.

Caring for Your Piece
Delicate wash at 30°C, by hand preferably, inside out. No bleach, no tumble dryer, no dry cleaning. Dry in the shade on a hanger, dress buttoned two-thirds up: the weight of the skirt relaxes the pleats by itself. Dark brown shows the mark of perspiration salt more visibly than khaki, so rinse a fresh ring with clear water rather than waiting for washing. Press with a cool iron on the reverse, fabric still slightly damp.
