Silk scarf 90 Place Vendôme
The Vendôme column in a laurel wreath, framed by the arcaded facades of the square, its lanterns and its escutcheons, engraved in taupe and gold on cream. The border of ribbons and scrolls closes a square of Parisian architecture, drawn like an antique plate.
The 90 x 90 is the king format of the silk scarf: in a triangle on the shoulders, folded as a headband around the neck, as a turban, as a belt, or tied to a bag. Its surface allows all tying styles, from the loosest to the tightest, and it is the one that shows the design in full once draped.
The Wearing Experience
- The taupe and gold monochrome is the most sober in the range: a daytime scarf that goes with all neutral colors.
- The central column is worn at the back, in a triangle: the monument appears between the shoulders.
- In a triangle on the shoulders, the center of the design falls in the middle of the back and the borders frame the neckline.
- Folded as a narrow headband, it makes three wraps around the neck or a complete turban.
Know-How & Material
The Place Vendôme scarf is printed in Italy on a 100% natural silk twill, the same tight weave with a discreet diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and its resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which reproduces the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never overlocked by machine.
The 90 cm is the historic format of the house: it is the one of our twenty-six scarves printed in Italy, and the one on which the silk twill gives the best drape, neither too heavy for the neck nor too light for the shoulders. To understand what distinguishes a twill from a silk satin, we have detailed our criteria in silk scarf, twill or satin.

Caring for Your Piece
A 90 is washed flat in a basin, without twisting; it dries flat on a towel, edges pulled, and is barely ironed. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; flat drying away from the sun, ironing on the reverse side at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
