Place Vendôme silk twilly
The arcaded facades of Place Vendôme and its column, engraved in taupe and gold, follow one another along the cream ribbon. Derived from the Place Vendôme scarf, this twilly is the most understated of the series.
The twilly is a silk ribbon folded lengthwise, with tapered ends: it wraps around a bag handle, ties at the neck as a thin tie, at the wrist as a bracelet, or in the hair on a ponytail. It is the lightest and easiest silk accessory to wear in the range.
The Wearing Experience
- Taupe, gold, and cream: the twilly that goes with all bags, from black to camel.

- Wrapped in a spiral on a bag handle, it stays without slipping: the silk clings to itself and the flat knot finishes the spiral.

Know-How & Material
The Place Vendôme twilly is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill, 100% silk, the same tight weave with a subtle diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The print is done in high definition, which renders the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never overlocked by machine.
The twilly is printed on a 12 cm twill band, then folded in half lengthwise and rolled on its edges: the finished ribbon is 6 cm wide and 90 cm long, with the two ends cut on the bias. The design is composed for the visible half once folded, and reads on both sides. Caring for Your Piece
The twilly is washed flat in a few minutes, dried flat by pulling the ends, and barely needs ironing: it is the simplest silk piece to maintain. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
