Silk Twilly Place Vendôme
The arcaded facades of Place Vendôme and its column, engraved in taupe and gold, succeed one another along the cream ribbon. Derived from the Place Vendôme scarf, this twilly is the most understated in the series.
The twilly is a silk ribbon folded lengthwise, with tapered points: it wraps around a bag handle, ties at the neck as a fine tie, at the wrist as a bracelet or in the hair on a ponytail. It is the lightest and easiest silk accessory to wear in the range.
The Wearing Experience
- Taupe, gold and cream: the twilly that goes with every bag, from black to camel.
- The facades in a row read like a street unrolled at the wrist.
- Wrapped in a spiral around a bag handle, it stays in place without slipping: the silk grips itself and the flat knot finishes the spiral.
- At the neck, it ties in a small knot on the side or as a fine tie under a collar: two turns are enough.
Craftsmanship & Material
The Place Vendôme twilly is printed in Italy on a 100% natural silk twill, the same tight weave with discreet diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which reproduces the engraved line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never serged by machine.
The twilly is printed on a 12 cm twill band, then folded in two lengthwise and hand-rolled on its edges: the finished ribbon is 6 cm wide and 90 cm long, with the two points cut on the bias. The design is composed for the half visible once folded, and reads on both sides. Styling Tips
- On a camel or black bag handle, wrapped loosely.
- At the neck, on an ivory shirt, as a fine tie.
- In the hair, as a fine headband on a low bun.

Care for Your Piece
The twilly is washed flat in a few minutes, dries flat by pulling the points, and hardly needs ironing: it is the easiest silk piece to care for. Cold water, gentle soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; dry flat away from sunlight, iron on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in washing a silk scarf by hand.
