Silk Scarf 90 Enchanted Labyrinth
A French formal garden labyrinth, green hedges and golden paths, fountains and statues, unfolds across the entire scarf to a border of hedge trimmed with golden scrolls. The plan of a château garden, seen from above, drawn in engraving.
The 90 x 90 is the king format of the silk scarf: worn as a triangle on the shoulders, folded as a band around the neck, as a turban, as a belt, or tied to a bag. Its surface allows all tying styles, from the most ample to the tightest, and it is the one that shows the design in full when draped.
The Wearing Experience
- Bottle green, gold, and cream: the scarf pairs with camel coats and tweed jackets.
- The all-over pattern can be worn as a triangle on the shoulders without worrying about centering: it is an entire garden that you drape.
- As a triangle on the shoulders, the center of the design falls in the middle of the back, and the borders frame the neckline.
- Folded as a narrow band, it makes three wraps around the neck or a complete turban.
Know-How & Material
The Enchanted Labyrinth scarf is printed in Italy on natural silk twill, 100% silk, the same tightly woven fabric with a subtle diagonal rib as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to creasing. The printing is done in high definition, which reproduces the engraving lines of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and sewn with a needle, never machine-overlocked.
The 90 cm is the historic format of the house: it is the format of our twenty-six scarves printed in Italy, and the one on which silk twill gives the best drape, neither too heavy for the neck nor too light for the shoulders. To understand what distinguishes a twill from a silk satin, we have detailed our criteria in silk scarf, twill or satin.
Styling Tips
- On a camel trench, tied as a triangle in front, with golden paths visible.
- With a green dress, as a belt at the waist, folded into a wide ribbon.
- On a cream sweater and jeans, as a long tie.
This format is found throughout the collection of 90x90 silk scarves, the historic format of the house. All formats are gathered in the Misciano silk scarf collection. To go further: wearing a silk scarf: 8 styles.
Caring for Your Piece
A 90 is washed flat in a basin, without twisting; it dries flat on a towel, edges pulled, and is barely ironed. Cold water, mild soap, no prolonged soaking or wringing; flat drying away from sunlight, ironing on the reverse at low temperature, dry iron. The steps are detailed in hand washing a silk scarf.
