The construction is more carefully finished than what an elasticated waist skirt might suggest. The gathering is not rushed: the fabric is distributed evenly over the entire circumference, which prevents a bundle of material at the front, a classic fault with this type of waist. Care for Your Piece
Gentle wash at 30 °C, preferably by hand, and always inside out. No bleach, no tumble dryer, no dry cleaning. Iron on low heat inside out while the cotton is still slightly damp: this is the only time the poplin regains its crisp appearance without becoming shiny.
