A shirt transformed into a dress, losing nothing in the process
The shirt wardrobe has precise codes: pointed collar on stand, central button placket, patch breast pockets, buttoned cuffs. This dress respects them all, from collar to hem, and simply transposes them into fluid, long satin. This is what allows it to be worn buttoned to the top or entirely open over something else.
The Wearing Experience

Craftsmanship & Material
Composition: 65% viscose, 35% recycled polyester. Satin is not a fibre but a weave structure: the warp threads float lengthily on the face before passing back under the weft, creating an almost continuous surface and therefore highly reflective. Here, the predominant viscose brings weight and suppleness to the drape; the recycled polyester, more resilient, prevents the satin from sagging and stabilizes the sheen over time.
On a long dress, weight distribution is the real consideration. Viscose satin is heavy, and without structure it pulls the shoulders down. The shirt construction solves this: the shoulder yoke takes the load, the central button placket stiffens the front over its entire height, and the two patch breast pockets add a double layer exactly where the fabric pulls most. The fact that they are cut on the grain, whereas the body is not, also explains why they catch the light differently. Styling Tips
- Buttoned to the top with pointed mules, for an unbroken vertical line.
- Open at the first two buttons, sleeves rolled up to the elbows, fine belt at the waist.
- Entirely unbuttoned over a tank top and wide trousers, worn as a long fluid jacket.

Care for Your Piece
Delicate wash at 30°C, preferably by hand, inside out. No bleach, no tumble dry, no dry cleaning. Satin marks creases as soon as it dries compressed: hang the dress immediately after washing on a wide-shoulder hanger, it will unfold itself almost entirely. Iron on low heat on the reverse only; placing an iron on the face would permanently lustre the satin.
