A Guipure That Lets the Light Through
Guipure is a lace without a ground: the flowers are not embroidered on a tulle, they are linked to one another by small bars, which leaves real openings between the motifs. On this jumpsuit, it covers the entire upper body, including the funnel neck and short sleeves. A black lining doubles it from the bust down: above, the skin shows through between the flowers; below, the guipure reads black on black. The waist is defined by a tie belt, and the trousers fall wide, with a marked crease down the middle of each leg.
The Wearing Experience
- A dressy top without jewellery: the small scalloped neck and the relief of the guipure have the effect of an adornment
- Controlled sheerness: only the upper bust, shoulders and arms let the skin show, the rest is lined

Craftsmanship & Material
The label indicates 95% polyester and 5% elastane. The elastane content mainly serves the crepe trousers, which follow movement without pockets at the knees. The guipure, for its part, holds its shape through its own relief: its thick motifs and bars give it a structure that lace on tulle does not have, allowing it to form a funnel neck without a stiffener.
The cut of the lining is the real construction choice: at the front it is rounded just under the collarbones, at the back its top edge is almost straight under the shoulder blades; it leaves the guipure alone on the upper chest, the upper back and the arms, where its transparency is flattering, and lines it everywhere else. A concealed zip runs up the centre back, through the guipure, to the top of the collar. The sharp crease of the trousers is stitched, not just pressed: it does not disappear in the wash. Caring for Your Piece
Gentle wash at 30 °C, inside out and in a laundry bag, so the guipure bars do not snag. No bleach, no tumble dryer. Dry flat or on a hanger. Never iron the guipure directly: a steam refresh from a distance is enough. The trousers can be ironed on the reverse at a low setting.
